Halloween

I am in a bit of a pickle...it is my daughters second Halloween and the first one she is old enough to put on a costume and trick or treat.  We got her a black cat costume that she looks VERY cute in, but she woke up this morning with a COLD!! Poor thing is sniffling and sneezing with watery eyes.  I don't know if she will be up to trick or treating and I was so excited for her, maybe we should dress her up as Mr. Snufflepegus from Sesame Street! What should I do?? Maybe we will dress her up and make an attempt at it. 

It isn't even suppertime and we have had some trick or treaters show up here all dressed up.  There was even one little girl who was a lamb!! Totally cute.  Hopefully my daughter will be up to it and we will be able to go out and about!! I guess if we do I will have to figure out how to post a picture on here!  We will give it a try!

Halloween Party

Today we are all dressing up for Halloween at our office and it is pretty fun because most people dressed up.  I dressed up as an 80's chick and oh my I look crazy, I can't believe we dressed this way...I am a child of the 80's so I can say this the fashion sense we had was terrible!  I know some of the 80's fashions are trying to make a comeback but they shouldn't...like stonewashed jeans...uugh they really shouldn't make a comeback they need to stay in the 80's!!

I have on black leggings w/flats, a big orange dress shirt (thanks to my husband for letting me borrow this!!) w/ the sleeves rolled up a HUGE yellow plastic belt and some of the ugliest jewlery I have ever seen!! The earrings are the worst they are gold, green, and blue in a big swirl with a huge fake gem in the middle...uuugh so ugly!!

My makeup is the funniest part...I have on blue eye shadow on my whole eyelid up to my eyebrows with bright pink cheek color caked on and lipstick!!!  When I was putting on the blue eye shadow I got it everywhere!! Then to top it off I have a side ponytail and a headband!! I am looking crazy!!

Funny things that you will do to have a little fun!! But we sure are having fun!

My first blog ever!

Well I have never written in a blog but here it goes.  I am a mother of a daughter and wife to a wonderful husband.  I am just a regular girl that leads your average life!   I have a fantastic family, and great parents who showed me growing up what real love looks like and to this day I still thank them for that!! Thanks mom and dad!! I grew up being taught good work ethics and to respect everything and everyone around me, and that we should live a God-centered life.  I am so thankful that I was able to grow up in that kind of a family because I know all too well that not everyone gets that luxury. 

Other things to know about me is I love to spend time with family, I love to cook for my family and everyone else and I am a bit of a busy body!  I am always busy with this or that or going here and there. That is just my personality, I can't stand just sit and when I do my foot starts to tap or I begin to fidget...which is probably a terrible trait but I cannot seem to get rid of it, so it will probably forever be a part of me. Other things I like, no love is I LOVE to run.  If I couldn't run I am not sure what I would do, it gives me time alone or with a good friend, time to think, pray or just enjoy the beautiful country that I live in!
